Petty Pink Cake/Cheer up Gin!

My best lady was feeling a little down an out recently so I invited her over and made her a cheer up cake <3 Just something pretty for her to make her feel special. Also its a yummy strawberry cake!!

Alice in Wonderland Cake

This cake was for what sounds like a great birthday party! I love Alice in Wonderland!

It's not all edible, but this way there are toys leftover! :D Who doesn't want toys on  their birthday!?

I also made some cake pops to go with the cake :) I really like how they turned out.

 These were for a little girl on her birthday.

This was also my first attempt at egg free cupcakes. I don't think they turned out too bad. I mean, I don't know what they should have tasted like...haha but they weren't horrible.

Anyway these little guys are just so cute!

Tonka Truck Cake / Last cake of 2012

 This was the last cake of the year. I think it was the hardest cake I've done so far. And...I dont like it. (sigh)...

I think that the back part of the truck should have been so much bigger/taller! It would have changed the entire cake!

The cake went over very well at the birthday party. I received many compliments on it..
When I take a look at the photos it doesn't look so bad.   :)

I suppose you are your own worst critic.

Snowflake cake

 Its a mini explosion of snowflakes!

I love this cake! It was my first time trying out some cake wires and I really really love it! On a whole I love this cake! I was very happy when the lady came to pick it up!

I have a special cake coming up in February that I hope to use the wires on!! :) It's going to be beautiful! <3

Baby pops / Sheep(2)

 Hehehe these were made for a baby shower. I got to make little sheep again! And some letter blocks (My favorite pops for baby showers!)

I really like this order. The pops. The colours. The flowers. I was pleased!

 I enjoy making goodies for baby showers! They're always so cute and fun!! <3

 I'm not 100% sure...but I believe a little girl may have arrived today...if not today..it should be tomorrow..

A lovely lady at work asked me to have some cake pops ready for when her daughter went into labour.

These pops were made as a thank you to the nursing staff/doctors/support staff and family involved in the welcoming of this precious baby girl.

 I hope all is well with mom and baby <3

Valentines day hearts

Last year I missed Valentines Day. This year I'm all over it!!

Rose pops!

 Today is January 13th! That is exactly one month away from Valentines Day! To get the ball rolling on Valentines Day treats for loved ones, I decided to try my hand at making Rose cake pops! :)

I am thrilled with the way these turned out!!

I've decided that ANY orders placed between now and the 14th of February will receive a lovely rose pop !! :)

Disaster Cakes/Caught up!

 These cakes were done for a guy at work for his wife on her birthday. Now, he originally asked me to make sugar free c-cakes for her...so I tried...

I wanted them to be cool/funky ahah so this is what I made. Unfortunately the whipped topping destroyed the fondant pieces... oh boy. I mean. DESTROYED. I didn't see the very end result...but I know from even these photos they were headed down hill. Fast.

 You can see if you click on the photos there are spots were the fondant has started to melt. It only got worse :)

 So the next day I offered to make him so new ones (minus the melted goo) eeep... So I made him some pretty happy birthday cakes :)

 This is the last set of photos from my back log! I am officially caught up!  Now it will all be newer posts and projects and working on correcting the disaster that is my blog pre google + days. Yay for being caught up!
