70th Birthday!

My fiance's grandmother turned 70 recently,  so we threw her a surprise birthday party! :)

This was my first ever three tiered cake!!!! :) I am thrilled with it!!! AND we almost lost it on the drive up!! Haha for anyone that has ever delivered a cake themselves it is so nerve racking...And we had a 3 hour drive to get there! I know it should have gone up in pieces but I have all my supplies at home and I didn't want to cart them for this trip. :)

But we made it safe and sound to the party, and the birthday girl LOVED it :)

Guest of Honour!
Happy birthday Maxine! <3 We all love you !!

Valentines Day/Best news ever

Sooo...these roses were made for a couple valentines day orders that I had. While the roses do take a while to make they are absolutely worth every minute!

AND... This was the best Valentines Day of my life!!! My boyfriend asked me to marry him!!! (It was actually on the 13th because he didn't want it to be on Valentines Day! ) :)
I said YES!!!! :) :) I'm so excited!!!! :) We're getting married!!! :)

Glam party cake!

Heheh this tiny purse cake was for a 5th birthday party for a little glam girl :)

The design is based on a picture of a cake that was requested.

At first I didn't really like it but as I continued with decorating I grew to love it <3 I'm told that the little lady also loved it !!

These were made for a birthday last week. I was  told that she was turning 18 and she likes purple. GO!

I also happen to LOVE purple! So I was excited to do these pops.

I was aiming for pretty & simple.

And I love them :)

 I <3 Cake Pops !! :)

Mini Harley Davidson Cake

This year seems to be filled with cakes! I don't think I was asked for this many cakes all last year! ahah  Big ones, teeny tiny ones (like this) 2 tiers, 3 tiers! All shapes and sizes! It's really exciting that I'm getting so much practice with cakes! I really do need it!! :)

This teeny tiny cake was a birthday cake for my best gal's father on his special day! I think he likes motorcycles ;) ahaha
The birthday boy put in a request for banana cake so that is indeed what I made him :)

The pictures don't really show just how teeny tiny the cake is. But it was so cute!! :)

Banana / Strawberry

I am so excited about these cupcakes! :)

The ones with yellow, are banana cupcakes filled with a fresh banana and cream cheese filling topped with buttercream frosting and a chocolate covered banana chip.

The pink ones are a version of strawberry shortcake. White cake filled with strawberries and strawberry cream topped with buttercream frosting and a freeze dried chocolate covered strawberry.

Both finished with a dark chocolate spirograph inspired topper. :)

YUM! ;)

Neopolitan cake pops!!! Inside and out. I suppose there isn't too much to say here. I did try something new with the outisde, to make the chocolate worked well but the cake pops were massive!!

They really taste like neopolitan ice cream!!! Except you can't eat your favorite and leave the rest ;)

Pink! (2)

This is the cake I was asked to make for the breast cancer fundraiser event :) I was asked to make the biggest cake I can and then I could decorate as I wish - It just had to say Celebrate Courage.

I think this cake was so lovely. <3 and it was fun to decorate. I decided to use my airbrush for the writing which made me SO nervous!!! But I practiced all day and when it came time I took a breath and just did it. haha And it turned out well! :)

The cake was 100% donated to the event, and it was a huge success. :)

Pink ! (1)

I made these roses for a group of very special ladies who put together a lovely fundraiser event for their friend <3 I thought that for all the work they did, they deserved a little something special

I stuck with the pink theme because it was a fundraiser for breast cancer and also I love pink!
On just a small side note, these would be PERFECT for Valentines! ;)
